go or no go?

this web called "bank run", its like a game or a movie more like a flash page. at first, the main character will show up by running away from a car, then the story rewind and you have to decide the fate of the main character by choosing different option provided in the movie clip. this is so much fun by simply click a button and it gives a movie feeling to you, also you could decide which way to go. but the advantage is the loading takes a lot of time and you could not jump to next chapter directly... making the web is not really hard by showing a movie clip, then option button/image, then jump to another movie clip.  but what i dont really know about is the action button showing in the clip (asking you to tab the button quickly).

this is a web of kari traa, a norwegian freestyle skier. a movie appears when the loding finished, the kari introduces a sparkling spot. in the website, mainly you have to do is to draw sth with the brush, color and symbols provided (it sounds like the structure of flash software itself haha). your drawing by this interactive device could then uploaded to the web, and you could take a look of others works. when the page is loading, there will be some dots as the element.

a personal web again, of a french director and actor. compare with the previous person web, this one is more morden and mature. the theme of the page is a movie of a merry go round and a silhoutte man, together with a monotone background, which looks like the bg when shooting photos and films. that seems old but it suits the director's background century. the font and text is clean and comfortable. when clicking one the header with a doggie jumping, the information will show on a board-like-shape drapping from the page top. it looks like the setting of dramas, every info page contains a movie clip and then som actions, buttons, scrolling down.

this is a personal website of a argentine cartoonist. it has an interesting loading page with the cartoonist's character reminds you how far it loads, by the drawf's long tail hat haha. the layout of the web is an "artist table" fulls of things, a messy table that every artist must have. when you click on the different options on the page like color parlet, comic papers, the information will appear, dragging by the hands photo (real hand image of the artist?) i was wondering how this could work for such realistic page layout... i guess its the tune of photos looks real, the techique is just movie clip? the cursor is another cute thing but it would be better if it is not hanging in air, now it confuses me where i m going to click. the only weird point is the layout of his table does not match with his style of cartoon, the table gives some antique middle age feeling while his cartoon is bit modern, but overall this is absolutely a really attractive web.

Plate interactive, a web design agency, from their web, i think it must worths paying for a web! plate is the flash web i like the most among these 10
this web is a good example by combining photos, movie(stop motion) and sound, the main character is the plate itself in the very center. all other introductions are on a side, they want us to focus on the plate, their own brand. they created a long video using thing putting on the plate to show a "plate" by stop motion, which is one of the techiques i love. this is really interesting and the aesthetic is united, clean and comfy.
this web shows the strength of the agency, their branding ideas, which is also like an movie.
the only thing they could improve is there should be better if a loading bar is place, so that users could know how the progress is and not blindly wait.

another web with the simplicity white again, i'd prefer some simple layout which is clean and neat. this is one good example combianing html with flash elements, i love the opening flash movie with line arts, the artist loves to show the organic lines.
another interesting thing is the header, each sub-page with a flash header, which makes the unity of the style as well as adding some small interesting bites to the tradional html web (this is sure not difficult by adding a movie clip or stuff and it gives color to the whole web)
